Born in Ann Arbor, MI in 1965, the son of a mathematician and a filmmaker - I am a 25 year veteran of high resolution photography using large format cameras (4x5 to 8x10) and an early adopter of digital and hybrid photographic technologies. I have done work for clients here in Southern California, New York City, Canada and Europe.<br><br>
Through my university studies in physics, fine art and architecture (see below for details) I have found a unique blend of influences informing my 'art'. My 12 year career as an architect also gives me a certain connection with my clients - and the ability to see to it that their expectations are met and exceeded. My background as an artist/photographer with an exhibition record going back to the mid-1980s is important to consider; my concerns go far beyond simple 'image quality'. I very much hope that this is evident in my work for you, and especially that you will give me a chance to show you some of this work in 'real life'. You may be quite surprised what you see.<br><br>
